My wife and I bought our first house in June of 2008. I started renovating the inside of the house not long after we became the owners. I began with my ceilings. At night after coming home from working in a warehouse 8 to 10 hours a day, I would work on the house, with the help of my brother Jimmy. I spent a lot of time with my head looking up with my neck bent upward for hours.

One night after working on the house I noticed pain in my neck and lower back. The pain became very bad as each day passed, after I first noticed something was wrong. Finally I went to a doctor and had an MRI. This revealed I had three bulged disk in my lower back, and two in my neck.

I began going to physical therapy and taking all kinds of pain medications. Yet, I always felt some pain. I would pray very frequently to Jesus to heal me, and he would touch me. When he would touch me the pain would calm down enough to bear it, but it never went completely away.

On November 14th, 2008 Pastor John came to town with a message on Faith. He was saying that faith is above our human thinking. We as adults want to think too much when it comes to reacting to God's grace. A child does not react this way. They do not hesitate to move when they think. They do not say, "Well, should I or should I not?" They just react.

On this night, my pain had climbed to a level so high that I wanted to leave my body. I could not get relief no matter how I sat. I wanted to tell everyone in the room that night that I needed prayer, but I did not want to interrupt Pastor John's message from the Lord. Everything he was saying was giving me all the more yearning to be prayed for. He said nothing is impossible for Jesus if we just live where faith is which is -- above our human mind. I finally heard a break in Pastor John's message, so with all my heart I cried out to everyone there, "I'm hurting so bad, I need Jesus to heal me!"

I was sitting right next to Pastor John, so I fell down on my hands and knees in front of him. He laid hands on my head, and I was crying out with all I had, asking Jesus to heal me. After a few minutes or so, I remember feeling someone laying hands on my back. My eyes were still closed so I just thought it was one of the older saints praying for me. At one point I opened my eyes, and I was so surprised to see standing rubbing their hands all over my back praying for me was a little 7-year-old boy named Jacob. He was the one who had come to lay hands on me. My faith grew so much when I saw that is was a 7-year-old boy praying for me. I felt the power of God come down on Jacob and me, and I could hear all of the saints in the room speaking in tongues, praying for me as well. I felt my pain leaving my body, and at the same time, Jesus had filled little Jacob with the holy Ghost!

I was so thrilled at what Jesus had done!!! He healed two hearts that night! He took the pain out of my body and baptized Jacob with the Spirit of God.

Jacob did what Pastor John was teaching us about. Jacob was living where faith is. Being a child, he did not have to think, "Should I pray for Uncle Tony or not?" He just reacted to what he felt from Jesus. Jacob's daddy asked him later that night what made him pray for Uncle Tony. He said, "He was hurting, and I wanted him to feel better."

I got to hug Jacob that night and thanked him for listening to Jesus.

Praise God for his goodness and His mercy, and most of all for His Son paying the price so we could be healed. Our healings are here; we just have to live where faith is. It is a heart thing, not a mind thing.

I tell you now my pain in my back and neck have never returned to that amount of pain again. I just praise Jesus for what he did!!
