Hey Pastor John,
I’m still reading Ezekiel and have a question about Chapter 24 starting at verse 16:
- Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
Am I reading this correctly? God told Ezekiel that he was going to kill his wife but not to mourn or shed any tears for her?

Yes.

19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
20 Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
What does He mean by He will “profane his sanctuary?”
======
God was about to remove His Spirit from the sanctuary, the temple that Solomon
built, and let the heathen take it and the city of Jerusalem.

I am reading this in complete awe of what Ezekiel went through. How God would make him act things out in his life and then prophecy to Israel. He really went through something.
Thank you!
