Last night

Morning!

Thank you for sending the notes out from last night.  I took lots of notes last night!  It is so good, and I love how clear things are becoming with us.  When you went over one of the biggest things the Lord has shown us about how Christianity did not start with Christ, never was of God, not even from its inception, it made me think of Sister Donna’s testimony when she was first learning about Jesus.  The Spirit said to her, “Every way you think of me is filth before me.”  It was resonating in my heart how precious that word from the Lord was to her, and to us when He speaks.  He was not kidding.  It takes us a while to catch up to Him sometimes, but God means what He says.  He said, “EVERY WAY you think of me is filth before me.”  Donna has a degree in Christian Education and was a faithful Christian at the time, so the “way” was all the Christian thoughts she had about God and His Son.  When she started to follow Jesus, the voice that was talking to her brought her out of all those ways!  (Ha! I’m telling Donna’s testimony, but it is so good!)

What touched me so much about it last night was that we know how God feels about Christianity.  He’s been saying it to us, but when you take it in and believe it, it takes away a fear and intimidation and respect toward Christianity that doesn’t belong in the hearts of God’s children.  We can think the thoughts that God has toward a thing, and be free!  This last time going through the Iron Kingdom book 4: “The Synthesis”, really opened up my mind and heart to the nothingness of church religion.  The only thing in it that is good is God’s people, and the Spirit is calling them out of it!

That thought of knowing how God feels about Christianity is as precious as someone who has received the Holy Ghost outside of Christianity.  If you can receive God’s baptism outside of church religion, you don’t need it.  And many have!  What Jesus does is sufficient. That’s what he says about his baptism!  If the other way of baptism is “filth before him”, it’s not his baptism.  What other things have we learned that we can do without from Christianity?!  You can apply it to any of the truths of God we have learned.  When Jesus makes it plain, it just is!  Like you said, and have said many times before, it’s not our fault what Jesus has shown us, but thank the Lord he did!  He had mercy on us.

Whew, we have been on a journey, “working the road” as you said last night.  Jesus is really trying to get through to us and to his people everywhere to go beyond just “believing that Jesus is Lord”.  You said last night, “You don’t have to repent to believe God – demons believe.  Jesus said, He that comes to God must believe, [first] that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  You seek him because you believe He is there.  But, believing is not the reward Jesus gives.  If you diligently seek him, you will go beyond seeking!”  And that is where God’s Spirit, the Holy Ghost, which His Son died for us to have,  is…..that’s what comes next – the reward.

I sure wish God’s people, our brothers and sisters, would believe that, and take it into their hearts.  Do the research.  Find out the history of their religion.  Care enough about your own soul to do it.  The answers are there waiting.  Like you said last night, “You are betting your life on whatever it is that you believe.”  It’s worth finding out.  And there is some really good things to be discovered!  Jesus IS exciting.

I could go on and on, but I just want to say how thankful I am to know the truths of God and see them the way God sees them.  Without Him showing us, we wouldn’t know anything.  Like Sister Willie said last night, “I am out of Christianity as much as I know, but if there is anything still there, I want it out!  I want no part of that.”

Here is sister Donna’s testimony if anyone would like to hear it.  I listened to it this morning.  Wonderful! 🙂
