Last night I was reading Exodus 15 and when I read this verse it stopped me:
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”
I closed my eyes just to let that verse sink in and began to hear Gary sing, “You are my God, who healeth me”. Then this morning when I was on my way to work I turned on a CD and we were praying for several people and Gary started singing this same song.
It felt sobering. I felt relief.
