Hi John,
I have been feasting on the last couple of our meetings, especially all the testimonies about what God has done in our lives. Your testimony of your life, and how God gave you the truth, and how you have loved it from the beginning and still feel the same way about it today. The reading of Tract #1 “How I Received the Holy Ghost” by your father, Gorge Clark, and hearing your comments about your father’s life, and his zeal to want to know God and his ways, and the path that brought him to the truth.
I love what God has done for us all, starting with just one man getting hungry enough to call out to God to want to know what is true and holy, and willing to do whatever it took to hold on to what the spirit gave him. We are here as a result of his zeal and love for what he was given because he walked in it and passed it on to whoever would receive it. I love this! I was driving in to work one day this week just listening to the wonderful music we have been given, thinking about my life and how much I love this way, and where God has put us. I was thinking “I did not choose this life; this life chose me!”
God made choice for every one of us to know the truth, and He put us here together in this life. I don’t get up in the morning and wonder how I am going to live that day. I already know and feel how to live in this life he has given us. He has shown me! This life is who we are, and we become it when we yield to the new creatures God has made us by his spirit. I don’t know any other way of life, and I don’t want to know any other way of life. That “old man” is dead and buried, and I don’t even know where the grave is, and don’t care.
Thank you so much for loving this way and feeding us everything God gives you. We are here because of you as well, and I love that and you!! I would to God that every one of His children had a pastor like you in their life.
Thank you,
Stuart
