Exodus 32:32

Hi Pastor John,

I was reading the part of Exodus book and I just love to share how Moses loves the Israelites. Moses prayed in Exodus 32:32:

30 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people,” You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.” 31 Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold! 32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.” 33 And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

A lot of people want their name to be written in the Book of Life and I just thought that nobody wants to pray like that but Moses loves them that he was willing to be blot in the book for the sake of these people. But God is a righteous God he judge righteously and according to our works.

John 15:13-Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

I am amazed what Moses prayed and his heart for the Israelites.

Thank you,

Leika

Yes, Leika, that is a remarkable expression of love. Paul also felt that kind of love for the Jews:

Romans 9:3 KJV
[3] For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.

And of course, Jesus felt it for all of us:

Galatians 3:13 KJV
[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.

Thank God for those who went before us and loved us with the love of God!
