A Word in Season

Hi Pastor John,

I wanted to tell something that touched my heart last night on LiveSteam, as I went to bed I was thinking on what had just taken place. I was thinking about how much words just get in the way sometimes, how we think we have to explain everything or come up with a reason for why we are where we are in the spirit at that time (good or bad)

The thing that touched my heart was what I felt in the spirit when Sister Sandy got to the place where the spirit was. The feelings that flooded my soul said it all!! It was done; all we had to do from that point on was love sister Sandy.

I felt the same way about the body and our part. Some of it was just words, but when the body did its part, the same feelings flooded my soul, and it did something for everyone there. And you can feel that take place every time the body was functioning right.

As I was lying there, I began to weep and repent and ask God to forgive me and help me listen to his spirit clearly and not let me just have a bunch words to say that do not amount to anything. Let me take responsibility for my actions and not try to make any excuse for anything, (good or bad). Let my testimony be “as the oracles of God”.

These scriptures came to mind last night:

Pro 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

Isa 50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

God, let this this be how we are, and we will be a great help to your people. To know when to speak a word in season can make all the difference in the world to who ever it is for.
