Good morning.
I sure loved last night’s message John, wonderful! I wish I could have physically been there, but it came across good and clear on Youtube. And thanks for praying for me, I am feeling improved today, hopefully will be back to normal in short order.
I read little Jessa’s notes, that was so good. They were some of my highlights too, but I wrote down one myself last night that stuck out to me: “We need God’s touch every day”. Yesterday’s touch and yesterday’s word was perfect for then, but He has something for us TODAY. If we don’t have that, all we have is “tradition” – or memories of blessings past. Thank God for the things He’s done for us in the past, but if we want something BIG (to God)… there’s nothing bigger than God speaking to us and leading us in the Spirit’s way TODAY.
I had a song to sing last night, not knowing what your message would be on. I so wished I was there to sing it, but I have attached the words. I especially loved the first two lines of the first verse of the song, because you spent a good deal of time on Israel being important to God. I had no way of knowing you would talk about that – it encourages me so much when I’m on the same page with you and God, in my thoughts and music.
Thanks for showing us the way. I believe I am better today, spiritually and physically, from the message last night. Praise the Lord.

This is Big, Yall (G.S. – June 2021)
Israel was a tiny nation, smallest on the earth.
But God had chosen only them, and He knows what things are worth.
His blessing came to Abraham, the father of the faith.
And Jesus passed it down to us, And we still are blessed today, cause,
(CHORUS:)
This is big, yall. ‘Cause God is big, yall.
Though men see something small, In God it’s big yall.
Yes, this is big, yall. Cause God is big, yall.
When the holy Ghost power is in it, to God it’s big. (Yall)
David was God’s shepherd boy, playing on his harp.
No one knew, he would be king, that God would love his heart.
That little lad grew up in God, and one day with a sling.
Killed Goliath with a stone, as all began to sing.
(CHORUS)
Samuel was Hannah’s son. She lent him to the Lord.
He did his chores for Eli till, one day he heard God’s word.
And God made him a prophet, he found favor with all men.
Not one word fell to the ground, Lived faithful to the end.
(CHORUS)
We were in the wilderness, when we heard Jesus call.
He gave us truth, a man to guide, we followed, one and all.
And now we gather here in Christ, we’re blessed much more than most.
Oh hallelujah, we have rest, free in the holy Ghost.
(CHORUS)
The world may look, at just we few, and pity us so much.
We have got no buildings, traditions, rites, and such.
But we have found the Hidden Son, in truth we lift Him up.
What’s small to man, is big to God, For Jesus is enough!
(CHORUS)
God’s people need a shining light, we pray that’s what we are.
Our echo is so valuable, to those with hungry hearts.
We know when someone’s born again, and who God’s people are.
Yes we are small, but to the Lord, that’s giant in His heart.
(CHORUS)
