Hi, Pastor John.
As you were teaching about the wise and foolish virgins, I had a thought. If you were in the flesh, it would like as though the foolish virgins were frugal by not carrying anything in excess on the persons, but in fact it is the wise virgins who were the frugal ones because they valued the “Who” instead of valuing the “what”.
Also, there are no commissaries in Heaven. You cannot purchase anything for your soul over there; you either have in this life what you need to make it on Judgment Day or you don’t. There is not one thing that you can buy at that time (not that we would have anything to buy with) that can be purchased for anything lacking in our hearts. Mercy, Hope, Faith, Love, Relationships, etc., are only to be gained while we are on this earth, and God has given us time while we are living on this planet to obtain it.
