Hey Pastor John!
I had a very good experience the other week. On Wednesdays we have to go to chapel during school, and as I was sitting there I was realizing how valuable what we are being taught is! I have always known that it is a privilege to have what we have, and you and all the saints, but Jesus really showed me how valuable it was. The speaker at our school chapel was saying some things that I knew were wrong, and then I started to think about how happy I was to know that they were wrong. It filled me with so much joy for us that Jesus has shown us so much, but then it changed into a prayer for all those students and people sitting there that don’t know the truth. What we have is so valuable and precious, I never want to take it for granted!
Something else happened that really encouraged me too! About two weeks ago, I was so overwhelmed with everything going on and I really lost my peace. I remembered a few days ago that during or around one of those very overwhelming days, I was talking to Jesus and just asked him to give me his joy and peace throughout this crazy week. I was thinking about that on Wednesday night, and I was thinking how much peace and joy I had, and Jesus had been my first priority. It was a busy week, but it showed me even when everything is chaotic, we can still have joy, peace, and Jesus as our center! It showed me that if we keep Jesus first and ask him to help us, He will! It was such a small thing but it was so encouraging!
I wanted to get this out because I was thinking about all of this tonight!
