Beth and I, last night, were reading the TFT, “The 7 lies that the children of God believe”. You spoke about the “getting saved” doctrine, among many other things.
We talked about that and where those contrary doctrines, such as the “get saved” idea, came from and who would desire it and what it accomplishes.
We came to the conclusion that, since you have to live right to be saved …and the bible is so adamant about that… And since satan can’t give you the holy Ghost, which is the power so you can live right- so that you can be saved…..he just changed the doctrine.
He’ll just promise to save you now, so that you don’t get scared of the fact that you can’t live a righteous life, and then leave him to go look for help.
It made sense last night. Just thought I’d tell you what we were doing.
