The Law of Moses was the Law of God

Exodus 24:12  And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Leviticus 10:11  And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

Leviticus 27:34  These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

Numbers 15:23  Even all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;

Numbers 31:21  And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

Deuteronomy 4:1  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Conclusion: The law of Moses was called “the law of Moses” only because Moses was the man through whom God gave His law to Israel. Moses did not come up with one sentence of the law; in fact, God forbade him to do so.
