Pastor John,
Tonight was so rich!
You were speaking about, “Hope”, and how that hope of Glory…hope of salvation, purifies us, through our desire to attain to it. We read that, we do not hope for what we already see, for then why would we still hope for it?
You spoke of the “Get Saved” doctrine and that if a person believes they are already saved, it takes away that person’s hope, and the purifying function of that hope.
At that time, I heard the Spirit say, “Antichrist”.
The thought that immediately followed was, “Christ is our hope.”
I then considered what I had just heard, and as if putting together puzzle pieces, I thought, “if the ‘get saved’ doctrine robs us of our hope, and Christ is our hope, then the ‘get saved’ doctrine robs us of Christ!”.
“Wow”, is all that I could think. “Antichrist”.
I thank Jesus for tonight. It had so much spiritual nourishment. I wonder if any group of believers on earth has so much of God revealed to them.
We couldn’t have this if you hadn’t obeyed God, I know that is true.
When I think about it, it seems that every loss suffered by every man, is due to disobeying God.
Thank you.
Good night
Jerry

Pastor John,
I’ve told this 3 times today, but it feels so good, I figure it must be worth repeating!
Years ago, when I was here in NC for a weekend, God was pouring His blessing down on us, and I was on the floor praying…It was a Sunday. I felt so good, I just couldn’t believe how I was feeling. I couldn’t believe it was possible!
As I began to stand up, I said to myself, “God, it can’t be THIS good!” At the moment that I got to my feet, brother Stuart came over and put his arm around me, squeezed me, turned to me and smiled, and said, “Its that good!”
Ha ha! only JESUS heard me say that, and Stuart answered 30 seconds later. WOW!
This weekend felt like a “It’s that good!” weekend. So rich!
Have good night,
Jerry
