Babylon is Fallen

Hey!

Well, I really enjoyed tonight and what was said!  Steven and I were talking about it on the way home and lots of things really hit us that were so good!  I can’t remember the order of events really, but we started talking about the fact that Babylon has already fallen!  That was really something to think about, and now it is just waiting to be destroyed!  It is already over for her yet she keeps trying to live.  The battle is already won, she lost, yet she and the ones with her keep trying to fight as if they are trying to turn the events.  And then we talked about how God says “…partake not of her sins…”, well, it makes sense now because if she is “sinning” then she must be fallen.  It would not still be standing and being in a righteous place with God if she/they were sinning!  Whew, I’m not doing a very good job telling at what I am feeling and thinking about!

Then Steven brought up the baby in Ezekiel being put out and no one cared for it or love it, and it was covered in blood…and he said that is how we are/were, helpless and we can’t do anything without God!  It sparked good feelings and thoughts as well and I thought about how animals would be after the smell of that baby being out like that and how God had mercy on us and picked us up and cleaned us and made us smell good 🙂  He protects us and feeds us and helps us to live a normal, healthy life!  I am so thankful.  I want to live in the Spirit so I stay clean!  The animals out there look at us and want us, but they can’t find us if we are hidden in the good smell of God.  But as soon as we step out from under God’s wing, we become sinful and bloody again and we have a bad smell that attracted all manner of things. 🙁  Oh, I pray that I stay close to Jesus and live in the Spirit daily and keep clean and safe.  We have a safety in our family in the Spirit that I don’t ever want to take for granted…and that all goes back to the beginning with Brother Gary’s song that we can’t do this alone. 🙂

Thanks for tonight!
