It was not a human feeling.\u00a0 This kind of thankfulness is from Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I had been feeling pretty sad.\u00a0 Jerry and I came down with a cold this weekend.\u00a0 That meant I couldn&#8217;t go see Bess or Debbie T.\u00a0 We had to cancel dinner with Tom, Suzi, Michael and Anna.\u00a0 Add a cold day in the rain today, and I was feeling kind of pitiful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Now\u00a0for the good part:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I put on your CD &#8220;The Best Thing to Me&#8221;.\u00a0 Pastor John, just your voice made me feel better.\u00a0 I began to think about how thankful I am to be here with you.\u00a0 How thankful I am that you wanted Jesus more than high positions and titles.\u00a0 Thankful for how much you love Jesus. Thankful that how others treated you did not stop you from obeying and trusting.\u00a0 The feeling that filled my car was from Heaven.\u00a0 It made me weep.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Then I began to thank Jesus for taking such sweet care of Bess and her dad.\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t go and comfort my sweet sister, but Jesus did.\u00a0 I thanked him for taking care of Debbie T.\u00a0 I thanked him for guiding the doctor\u2019s hand.\u00a0 I thanked him for the wonderful news about Jr.\u00a0 No cancer! I thanked him for wise counsel and a family that loves the truth.\u00a0 Sister Willie is right; you cannot complain and feel thankful at the same time.\u00a0 Thankfulness is consuming.\u00a0 No room for anything else when Jesus lets you feel his thankfulness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Beth<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Pastor John,\u00a0 I had the most wonderful feeling of thankfulness from Jesus today.
