Pastor John,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sitting in your office this\u00a0evening, listening to the “committee” translate Psalm 77, I heard you say something that I do not recall ever hearing said before.\u00a0 It was this: “David’s \u201cmighty men\u201d were not mighty because of their strength; it was because of the faith they had.”\u00a0 When you said that, it immediately took me back to something that the Spirit of the Lord said to me during one of our prayer meetings, many years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a dozen years ago, plus or minus, and I was visiting here (North Carolina) from Louisville.\u00a0 We were having a fine time in Jesus.\u00a0 The Spirit was falling, and people were singing and clapping.\u00a0 It was a wonderful meeting.\u00a0 As I looked around the room enjoying the sight of everyone, I looked across the room at dear brother Gary, and as I did, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me very plainly, and very unexpectedly, and said, “Mighty Men of God.”\u00a0 I knew at that moment that God had just spoken to me regarding Gary, and I knew just what kind of “might” God was telling me about \u2013 the spiritual kind, and the only one that matters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your words tonight regarding David’s men have made it clear for me just what it is that I heard from the Lord all those years ago.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a sweet life, with the sweetest people.<\/span><\/p>\n

So glad to have been able to listen to you all this evening \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n
