Pastor John,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday night I was ironing and just talking to Jesus.\u00a0 I was telling him how thankful I am for the love I’ve been feeling and for all that he has done for me, for us.\u00a0 I said, “Jesus I crave more of you.” \u00a0That is the only way I knew how to describe how I’m feeling.\u00a0 I reached over to turn Songs of\u00a0Rest on and Darren was singing and I heard this:<\/span><\/p>\n

There is truth you can know, there’s a life you can\u00a0crave,
\nThere is strength to help you overcome the world.
\nThere is power to get you out of the grave,
\nAnd so much more, all in my Father’s world.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I loved hearing my heart\u2019s desire echo in Darren’s song!\u00a0 The next day, I wanted to hear\u00a0that song again,\u00a0but I didn’t know the name of it.\u00a0 I looked, and I listened, but I couldn’t find it.\u00a0 Then, Wednesday night, that was the first song\u00a0Darren sang.\u00a0 My heart felt like it was going to leap out if my chest.\u00a0 I thought, “Oh\u00a0Jesus, you care so much you let Darren sing that song for me\u00a0again.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Then when you were talking about having a perfect heart before God,\u00a0I remembered listening to a CD and hearing you preach that message.\u00a0 It stirred my heart then just like it did Wednesday night.\u00a0 It feels like another layer of the hard Christian beliefs has been blown away.\u00a0 Then, when you were talking about loving God’s children everywhere, there was such love in it.\u00a0 There was such a spirit of gentleness, just sweet, loving, gentleness, I felt like it was just poured into my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then when you and Donna sang “Come to the Water” I just felt like my cup was running over.\u00a0 That song has always touched me; it feels like such an invitation every time I hear it.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I got home Wednesday night, I tried to pray; I tried to do several things, but couldn’t.\u00a0 All I could do is lie here and soak it all in.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What a sweet, wonderful life Jesus has given us!<\/span><\/p>\n
