It made me smile. I know some, if not all of this is true.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 Talking <em>about<\/em> God is not the same as talking <em>from<\/em> him. The whole world is talking <em>about<\/em> God, whether for him or against him. Christianity exists by God not talking back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 The only thing of value is what comes from God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 The only thing true about God is what God says about himself; no one else knows him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 Even telling what God has done for you can be misleading if it isn&#8217;t in accord with what God is doing right now. Not everything you think is a testimony. God&#8217;s words have value &#8211; wait on them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 Don&#8217;t speak more than your elders about God; you don&#8217;t know him that well. Look around you and learn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 Those who know God the most usually speak the least. But when they speak, it matters. Let God lend weight to your words.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 All you have is an opinion about God until he shows up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">\u2022 Wait on God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Jerry<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor John, I made this list a year or so ago &#8211; I just found it.
