{"id":1124,"date":"2010-09-09T19:29:06","date_gmt":"2010-09-09T19:29:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=1124"},"modified":"2010-09-09T19:29:06","modified_gmt":"2010-09-09T19:29:06","slug":"various-questions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/1124\/various-questions\/","title":{"rendered":"Various Questions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hey Pastor John!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I have a couple questions&#8230;&#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Can a man be righteous without the Holy Ghost?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000080;\"><em>Not with God&#8217;s righteousness, just his own.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Can a man please God without the Holy Ghost?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">A person MUST please God before he receives the Spirit; otherwise, he could never receive it.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">What about babies and children, when are they held accountable for their souls?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">You will have to ask Jesus that one.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">=============== <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">What about all the saints out there with the Holy Ghost? Does eveyone have a chance to hear the truth?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">Yes, in nature and in the Scriptures, if no other way. They all point to the truth. And if a person digests what God gives them, a &#8220;little here and a little there&#8221;, he will grow closer to God and His wisdom until He comes to the point of knowing God.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">What if they never hear it what happens then?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">That&#8217;s impossible. God is better than that.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">If they never hear the truth and think they&#8217;re right but never come out of Christianity, what happens to them?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">===============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">That is in God&#8217;s hands, not mine.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#000080;\">A more important question for us is this: What if we hear the truth and refuse to obey it?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>===============<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Thanks for everything!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">God Bless,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#000000;\">Michelle<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Pastor John!!
