{"id":11410,"date":"2020-09-08T23:44:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T23:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=11410"},"modified":"2020-09-08T23:44:00","modified_gmt":"2020-09-08T23:44:00","slug":"loving-your-testimony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/11410\/loving-your-testimony\/","title":{"rendered":"Loving Your Testimony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I was thinking this morning, as I listened to your reading from 1Samuel.\u00a0 You said something like \u201cIf Saul could have just been happy with David killing ten of thousands and him killing thousands, then David would have been his faithful servant all the through the years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I had to stop and think about that.\u00a0 I thought, \u201cThat is like someone falling out of love with his own testimony.\u201d\u00a0 God had done both things; he allowed Saul to kill thousands and David ten thousands.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t change what God had done in making Saul king.\u00a0 Through envy of David, Saul just fell out of love with what God had done for him.
