Glad our lyrics blessed everyone. &#8211; Brad and Allison<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Raindrops on roses<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">And whiskers on kittens<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Bright copper kettles\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">And warm woolen mittens<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Brown paper packages tied up with string<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">These are a few of my favorite things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Speaking in tongues when the Spirit baptizes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Learning old hymns that have lots of reprises.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Falling in love with the songs Darren sings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">These are a few of our favorite things!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Those poor Catholics!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">And those Christians,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">They must feel so sad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">If only they\u2019d learn to love our favorite things,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We know they would feel so glad!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Pastor John\u2019s sermons and\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Gary\u2019s songs bless us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Fire-side mornings with scriptures to discuss<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We are so grateful for what Jesus brings,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">That\u2019s why we sing of our favorite things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">North Carolina and all of its seasons,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Someday we\u2019ll live here for all the right reasons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We enjoy marriage and our wedding rings,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">These are just more of our favorite things!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">If we\u2019re sinful,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Not repenting,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">That makes us feel bad,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We fall on our face and cry out to our King,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">And then we don\u2019t feel so sad<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">More great musicians like Donna and Billy,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Make us shout praises like dear sister Willie,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Keeping us safe under God\u2019s loving wing<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We are so thankful for these precious things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Betty and Earl tell their great testimonies<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Young people also have their holy stories,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Jesus provides us with feelings He brings<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Praise God we\u2019re loving His favorite things!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">When we\u2019re lonely,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Missing family,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Sometimes feeling sad,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">We simply rejoice in our favorite things,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">And thank God for all we have<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This was so fun and effortless to write.
