(Part 1)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Hi Pastor John,<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">We have been enjoying the Genesis readings very&nbsp;much and look forward to more.&nbsp; I have a couple of questions as it pertains to the continued references to God creating and there being no reference to Jesus doing the creating. Where is it made clear Jesus did the creating?&nbsp; Maybe that is made more clear in chapters to come?&nbsp; I\u2019m also wondering when God created Satan?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks, Kevin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>============<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Hi Brother Kevin!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">From the creation of the world, God kept His Son a secret until the time He had appointed to make His Son known.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ephesians 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. By revelation, the mystery was made known to me . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">5. which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. To me, the least of all saints, was this grace given . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">9. to enlighten all men as to what is the plan of the mystery that has been hidden from the Aeons [heavenly beings] by the God who created all things through Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colossians 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">25. I was made a minister by the commission of God which was given to me for you,&nbsp;\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">26. the mystery that was hidden from the Aeons and from generations of man, but now is revealed to His saints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colossians 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. I want to make&nbsp;<em>y<\/em>ou aware of how difficult a struggle I am having for&nbsp;<em>y<\/em>ou, . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">2. <span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">that [your] hearts may be comforted, knit together with love\u00a0<strong>until<\/strong>\u00a0<em>you attain<\/em>\u00a0. . . to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, even of the Father and Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Son&#8217;s part in creation was, of course, also unknown until God revealed the Son.\u00a0 That happened when the Spirit came and showed chosen men how great the Son really is.\u00a0 Nobody understood this while Jesus was alive on earth; nobody really knew him, for that knowledge came to man through the Spirit after it came at Pentecost, and only then could men write such scriptures as these:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hebrews 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">1. After God spoke in many and various ways to the fathers in olden times by the prophets, He spoke to us in these last days by a Son,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colossians 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15. [Christ]&nbsp;is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">16. for by him were all things created, things in the heavens and things on earth, things visible and things invisible; whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities, all things were created through him and for him,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17. and he is before all things, and all things are held together by him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the beginning, the Word was there, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. He was in the beginning with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. All things were created through him, and without him was nothing created that was created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">In the Old Testament scriptures, which were all written before God revealed His Son, we can read them and see the Son in them, but nobody in those ancient times could see that,\u00a0even the prophets themselves.\u00a0 Jesus pointed out some verses of Psalm 110 that spoke of him before he came:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matthew 22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>41. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus put a question to them,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>42. saying, \u201cWhat do&nbsp;<em>y<\/em>ou think about the Messiah?&nbsp;&nbsp;Who\u2019s son is he?\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;They said to him, \u201cThe son of David.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>43. He said to them, \u201cHow is it, then, that David, by the Spirit, calls him \u2018Lord\u2019, saying,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>44. \u2018The LORD [the Father] said to my Lord [the Son], \u2018Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool\u2019?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>45. Now, if David calls him \u2018Lord\u2019, how is he his son?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">As for when God (through His Son) created Satan, I suppose He created him at the same time He created the rest of heaven&#8217;s creatures,\u00a0whenever that was.\u00a0 Satan is really no big deal.\u00a0 Christians make him something great, but he is a fool and a loser.\u00a0 He is not even mentioned until the 13th book of the Bible, and then, in one of the\u00a0last chapters.\u00a0 Satan was never anything super special\u00a0in heaven, even though he thought was, and has convinced\u00a0men that he\u00a0still\u00a0is.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><em>I hope that helps.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#0013a3;\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Pastor John<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Pastor John,\u00a0 We have been enjoying the Genesis readings very&nbsp;much and look forward to more.&nbsp; I have a couple of questions as it pertains to the continued references to God creating and there being no reference to Jesus doing the creating.
