{"id":11938,"date":"2021-04-14T14:09:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-14T14:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=11938"},"modified":"2021-04-14T14:09:00","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T14:09:00","slug":"the-writings-of-john","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/11938\/the-writings-of-john\/","title":{"rendered":"The Writings of John"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Good morning,<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Recently Jimmy told of his wonderful experiences reading <span style=\"color:#0013a3;\"><a style=\"color:#0013a3;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goingtojesus.com\/gtj_books.html?tname=the-jerusalem-council\">The Jerusalem Council<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color:#000000;\">book.\u00a0 He provoked me to jealously!\u00a0 Something he said struck my heart that day.\u00a0 Jimmy said he gave God the purest part of him, first thing in the morning.\u00a0 I love that.\u00a0 I have always loved starting my day with Jesus, getting up early before work to do that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">At some\u00a0point, I began to check the phone when waking up and when I heard Jimmy say that, I thought about the junk and strife you cannot unsee or feel after you have taken it in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I have been reading\u00a0<em>The <span style=\"color:#0013a3;\"><a style=\"color:#0013a3;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.goingtojesus.com\/gtj_books.html?tname=the-jerusalem-council\">Jerusalem Council<\/a><\/span><\/em>\u00a0and starting my day with Jesus.\u00a0 One thing I have loved is reading the scriptures.\u00a0 I appreciate all the love and work that has been given to us, laid out before us.\u00a0 Hard to dig when the gold is at the end of your shovel!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I do not know the bible\/scriptures like I want to.\u00a0 I have been praying as I go for Jesus to help me learn and to remember.
