But to know your suffering is\u00a0furthering Jesus\u2019s gospel (the covenant of life in the spirit), that makes you feel like you can run the extra mile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I know that was Paul&#8217;s testimony about his imprisonment for Christ&#8217;s sake and what it did for others, but\u00a0I think a lot of people&#8217;s suffering has furthered the gospel.\u00a0 Every time someone is encouraged in the Lord by another&#8217;s steadfastness during a trial, it furthers the gospel.\u00a0\u00a0It makes me think of the tract, &#8220;Trials are Opportunities&#8221;.\u00a0 Trials\u00a0<u>are<\/u>\u00a0opportunities to further Jesus\u2019s Gospel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Jerry<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a good scripture (Phip. 1:12):\u00a0 &#8220;Now I want you to know, brothers,\u00a0that my circumstances have turned out for the furtherance of the gospel.\u201d It is encouraging to know that all things are working for good when you are suffering.
