{"id":12218,"date":"2021-07-07T14:36:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-07T14:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=12218"},"modified":"2021-07-07T14:36:00","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T14:36:00","slug":"who-made-me-think","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/12218\/who-made-me-think\/","title":{"rendered":"Who Made Me Think!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I was listening to the morning conversations that Sister Betty put out!\u00a0 They are so good!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I got to feeling so good and so thankful, and in the middle of that, I remembered something wonderful!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Right before God sent Jerry, and shortly after I came out of the coma, two very sweet ladies convinced me that I needed to be water baptized.\u00a0 I was a broken-down mess, but I wanted to be fixed.\u00a0 I remember right before I was getting in that big tank of water, I was hoping and praying to come up different.\u00a0 I wanted to come up clean and different.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t, and I remember how sad and disappointed I felt because it wasn&#8217;t real.\u00a0 I really had hoped it would be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Why did I ever think that!!!\u00a0 It surely wasn&#8217;t from anything I grew up thinking or having been taught.\u00a0 As a Catholic, I was baptized at birth and was taught I was good to go!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">So where did that thought ever come from, or Praise God,\u00a0<em>Who<\/em>\u00a0did that thought come from!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">That is just absolutely wonderful to me.\u00a0 And bless those sweet ladies who thought they were helping me.\u00a0 Something in them thought baptism would change me, too.\u00a0 They just had the wrong one!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I pray Jesus gives them his baptism.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Beth D.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was listening to the morning conversations that Sister Betty put out!\u00a0 They are so good!\u00a0 I got to feeling so good and so thankful, and in the middle of that, I remembered something wonderful!
