{"id":12670,"date":"2022-01-15T21:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-15T21:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=12670"},"modified":"2022-01-15T21:10:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-15T21:10:00","slug":"thought-for-the-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/12670\/thought-for-the-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Thought for the Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Good morning Pastor John<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The Mathew readings have been so very good!\u00a0 EVERYTHING I was taught in Satan&#8217;s religion was exactly backwards.\u00a0 I am constantly having to forget and relearn the messages from the Bible.\u00a0 Even this morning, while reading the &#8220;Thoughts for the Morning&#8221;* book, I was presented another of the lies I had been taught.\u00a0 I was taught to build my strength and that in my strength, I could do God&#8217;s will; 180 degrees off from reality.\u00a0 \u00a0After reading and letting the lesson soak in, the holy Ghost explained to me that if I thought I had strength, I would be off doing my own will.\u00a0 And God would not get through to me because I would be relying on me, and not listening.\u00a0 \u00a0That is not what God wants from us.\u00a0 He wants us wanting to and having to rely upon Him, for everything in the flesh (which is what relying upon my strength and will is) is sin.\u00a0 We need Him to guide us in what is right.\u00a0 And &#8220;what is right&#8221; can change, depending on what God wants, and only by being meek will we be be able to listen.\u00a0 Soooo very far from my upbringing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Thank you for bringing the truth into my life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">One more good experience this morning.\u00a0 \u00a0I turned on the tv to catch the news, but it was on a different station.\u00a0 \u00a0There was a very funny segment from a show that I used to watch.\u00a0 So, I paused for some chuckles.\u00a0 The first advertisement was from God.\u00a0 It started with a white robe hanging in the darkness.
