{"id":12674,"date":"2022-01-15T21:16:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-15T21:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=12674"},"modified":"2022-01-15T21:16:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-15T21:16:00","slug":"tithes-and-offerings-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/12674\/tithes-and-offerings-book\/","title":{"rendered":"Tithes and Offerings Book"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hi John.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I have really been enjoying the next book that I started reading, \u201cTithes and Offerings.\u201d*<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">One thing that stood out to me this morning was what you said about Malachi 3, where God commanded his people to bring their tithes and offerings to His storehouse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">God\u2019s people we\u2019re not allowed IN the storehouse. Only God\u2019s servants, the Levites, etc., were allowed in that place in the temple.\u00a0 In other words, for God to ask the people to bring their tithes and offerings to the storehouse, was for Him to require something of them that they could not do! God\u2019s servants had to do that part.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I always love it when man is taken out of God\u2019s ways!\u00a0 Just as men have no part in giving the Holy Ghost (for it takes Jesus), so, men have no part in bringing tithes and offerings to God\u2019s storehouse &#8211; not without a man whom God has anointed to receive them and get them there!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">That was so good!\u00a0 We are not going to get around God, and we are not going to get around Jesus, and we are not going to get around the Holy Ghost, and we are not going to get around you.\u00a0 No Assembly anywhere is going to get around the pastor that God has given them.\u00a0 The best we can do is to do it God\u2019s way.
