Hey Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

Tonight, when you first started preaching, I couldn\u2019t understand everything you were saying, but it felt so good in my spirit.\u00a0 I kept thinking, “Oh, Jesus, this is so good!\u00a0 Let me take it in!\u00a0 Help me understand!” Then it started turning in my soul: the spirit of Antichrist is low-down, conniving coward!\u00a0 It will lie and cheat, but it will also bring you flowers and tell you everything your flesh wants to hear.\u00a0 But stay close to Jesus, and that thing will stink; you\u2019ll be able to smell it a mile away!\u00a0 It felt so good to know we\u2019ve been taught the truth and to know what we\u2019ve been given.\u00a0 I stood up before I even realized it, it just felt so good!<\/span><\/p>\n

Good morning, John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I read these verses in Jeremiah Chapter 2 this morning and it\u2019s God pleading through Jeremiah for his children to come back to him, but it reminded me of what we read and what you taught us last night:<\/span><\/p>\n

vs 7:\u00a0 But I brought you to this garden-land, that you might eat of its fruit and its goodness.\u00a0 But you went in and defiled my land.\u00a0 Yea, you made my inheritance an abomination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

vs 11:\u2026my people have exchanged their glory for that which will not profit.<\/span><\/p>\n

vs 12, 13:\u00a0 Be appalled, O heavens, at this!\u00a0 Yea, be horrified, and devastated, said the LORD!\u00a0 For my people have committed two evils:\u00a0 they have forsaken me, the fountain of living water, to hew out for themselves broken cisterns which hold no water\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

That was hundreds of years ago, and yet, nothing has changed!\u00a0 \u00a0\u2026.God\u2019s children have exchanged their glory (the Holy Ghost), for Christianity with its rituals and doctrines that will profit them nothing!\u00a0 They have made their inheritance an abomination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus is still calling His children out of that abomination of desolation back to Him!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We should be appalled and horrified and devastated about the way Christianity has turned the hearts of God\u2019s people away from the very fountain of living water, and for what?\u00a0 Broken cisterns, which hold no water!\u00a0 Oh God!\u00a0 Help us!<\/span><\/p>\n

My prayer is that I hate that thing and what it\u2019s done to God\u2019s children as much as God hates it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
