Bro. John:<\/span><\/p>\n

A few weeks ago there was a Pearl of the Day from May 12\u00a0that really touched me:<\/span><\/p>\n

“You are something that God did.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

As I read that Pearl, the Lord reminded me of a scripture.\u00a0 I could not remember where it was in the Bible but heard,\u00a0“it is he that hath made us”.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 I believe sometimes Jesus just wants us to search after him.\u00a0 If we do, there is always a blessing waiting.\u00a0 I searched for the verse and found it in Psalms 100.\u00a0 But the blessing was how the Spirit broke down these verses for me so that I felt them!\u00a0 I love when the Spirit walks through the verses with us!<\/span><\/p>\n

As I got to verse 4, here is how the Spirit stopped me and\u00a0posed the question and answered:<\/span><\/p>\n

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving”\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0 Because it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

” . . . and into his courts with praise”\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0 Because it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

” . . . be thankful unto him, and bless his name”\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0 Because it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Psalms 100<\/span><\/p>\n

[1] Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.<\/span><\/p>\n

[2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.<\/span><\/p>\n

[3] Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.<\/span><\/p>\n

[4] Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.<\/span><\/p>\n

[5] For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whew!\u00a0 It was so good to me!\u00a0 How can we be anything but humble before Jesus when we think on that one thought:\u00a0<\/strong>” . . . it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves”<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 It really blessed me today to read these verses with the Spirit asking me this question and answering.\u00a0 And it is truly humbling to realize that we bring nothing to the table, not even ourselves. Jesus is the One who, through his Spirit,\u00a0has made us acceptable to present ourselves a living sacrifice to him.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I thank him for all he has done and is doing for each of us.\u00a0\u00a0We are something that God did!\u00a0 Bless his name!<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
