Evening,<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope you and yours are well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I had an interesting thought that came from an observation I had in listening and watching conservative news shows and commentaries recently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The observation is that I hear even people who say they are religious (thus believe in a god who created in some way, shape or form) say when referencing the beginning of time, or a human trait that\u2019s been passed down from long ago, that it occurred hundreds of thousands of years ago.\u00a0 And some even say millions of years ago.\u00a0 This made me wonder, regardless of what they say they are, are they truly believers in a higher power, one who can create from nothing and one who did so not as long ago as they believe?\u00a0 How can one be a Christian, a believer, or Jew and not believe the entire<\/em>\u00a0story of God?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This puzzles me.\u00a0 I\u2019ve heard this several times recently, which makes me wonder how truly they really believe in God.\u00a0 God\u2019s truth is not a partial truth.\u00a0 His reality must be ours; not the other way around.\u00a0 I do not understand how people can openly stand for God, but not believe his timeline too.\u00a0 I know people often pick and choose what part of the Bible to believe in, but this evolutionary creation and salvation story is a new one for me.\u00a0 If we extrapolate this, it\u2019s as if they believe God created the earth millions of years ago with a Big Bang, then evolution took place, and then God created humans.\u00a0 This doesn\u2019t make any sense to me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Am I missing something? What are your thoughts or observations regarding this?<\/span><\/p>\n

The demon of evolution has been around a long time now, and it has infiltrated just about every aspect of modern culture, including biblical studies.\u00a0 Most of the “experts” in any field are full of it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is missing among people is an experience with the power of God.\u00a0 I remember the first time the power of God overshadowed me; it was like a warm quilt of joy and great power.\u00a0 That experience with God’s power created understanding in me that nothing else can do.\u00a0 I believed before, but I knew then that the story of the Flood, for instance, was no exaggeration or myth.\u00a0 God did not break a sweat destroying the world with a flood and remaking it.\u00a0 God did not work hard to created this universe; in fact, He held Himself back to stretch it out over six days.\u00a0 There is NOTHING that compares with the power of God; the strongest things on this planet are just a vapor to Him.\u00a0 We can believe all that, but nothing can make us to know it but an experience with the power of God.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

An experience with the power of God will save us from the influence of man’s great theories, such as evolution.\u00a0 God’s power alone exposes such things as foolishness to our hearts.\u00a0 Pray for experiences, Jonathan.\u00a0 As Darren Prater’s song says, “There’s got to be an experience!”\u00a0 Experience with the holy Ghost trumps everything \u2013\u2013 our ideas, our preferences, our doctrines, and whatever else is of earth.\u00a0 May God have mercy on our souls and give us all experiences!\u00a0 That is, in fact, our only hope of ever coming to know Him and seeing His face.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for writing.\u00a0 You can see the demon of evolution at work even in the minds of those who claim to believe in God, and you know that what that demon says through them is contrary to the truth.\u00a0 Pray for experiences which will establish you forever in what you are feeling and seeing.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
