{"id":13093,"date":"2022-07-12T00:47:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T00:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=13093"},"modified":"2022-07-12T00:47:00","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T00:47:00","slug":"the-spirit-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/13093\/the-spirit-3\/","title":{"rendered":"The Spirit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor John,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I went to a little birthday party this past weekend with Eden.\u00a0There was a little girl in her class, and I found out in passing that her grandfather is the Assembly of God pastor where Eden goes to school.\u00a0He and his wife showed up later at this party.\u00a0I was introduced to him. He seemed like a nice man.\u00a0We were small talking about the school and the wonderful things they are doing there.\u00a0 It was really just small talk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">He then asked me where we attended church.\u00a0I told him we attend a home prayer meeting full of folks that have the spirit.\u00a0I ask him if they believed in the New Birth experience with the evidence of speaking in tongues.\u00a0He hung his head sideways and started talking very low.\u00a0His response was they believed in it, but in an orderly fashion.\u00a0I asked him, &#8220;How do you put the Spirit in order?\u00a0It\u2019s what puts us in order!&#8221;\u00a0He really didn\u2019t want to talk to me much after that comment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I know we talk about Christianity and how it works, a lot, but to see it first-hand &#8230; there are so many feelings involved!\u00a0I left there, and driving home I was thanking God for the truth, thanking God for you, John, and all you have taught us!!\u00a0We have been taught so well!!\u00a0It\u2019s amazing to me!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Love,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Jammie<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-13095\" src=\"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pearl.jpg\" alt=\"PEARL\" width=\"396\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pearl.jpg 633w, https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/pearl-300x136.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor John, I went to a little birthday party this past weekend with Eden.\u00a0There was a little girl in her class, and I found out in passing that her grandfather is the Assembly of God pastor where Eden goes to school.\u00a0He and his wife showed up later at this party.\u00a0I was introduced to him.
