Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

During my lunch today I rewatched a Matthew Sermon (2nd in series).\u00a0 It was so good!\u00a0 Here are some things you said:<\/span><\/p>\n

If we are in Christ, we have been made a new creature!\u00a0 Old things are gone!<\/span><\/p>\n

Your past is harder for you to get over than it is for God to get over.\u00a0 Get over your old self, that thing is dead!\u00a0 You can be happy if you’re really you in Christ.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are not a product of that physical union anymore!<\/span><\/p>\n

I Peter<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in His abundant mercy has caused us to be born anew into a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. for an incorruptible and pure and permanent inheritance, reserved in heaven for you<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. In this you rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are distressed by various trials,<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. so that the trying of your faith, being much more precious than the trying of gold that perishes, though it be tried by fire, may be found worthy of praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. (whom having not seen, you love, and in whom, though not now seeing him, you believe, and you rejoice with joy inexpressible and filled with glory),<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    He doesn\u2019t want you to just have the holy Ghost, he wants you to have it abundantly!\u00a0 That is when he is saving you!<\/span><\/p>\n

    Let\u2019s humble ourselves and be blessed!\u00a0 Give in and be happy!<\/span><\/p>\n

    Whew…. I’m happy and shouting all over my little apartment!\u00a0 I love in verse 4 “incorruptible and pure and permanent inheritance, reserved in heaven for you” – amen!\u00a0 A permanent inheritance reserved for us!\u00a0 It just doesn’t get any better than that!<\/span><\/p>\n
