Hi Pastor John,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have had this question for many years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I speak in other tongues but never experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

A brother prayed for me one time for the baptism in the Holy spirit and asked me to start speaking out by faith in tongues. I didn’t feel anything or notice any change, but I could speak in tongues. I can still speak in tongues 20 years later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is this experience right?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shouldn’t I know if I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

May Lord satisfy your soul!\u00a0\u00a0It is an important question that you are asking.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

God hasn\u2019t ordained me, or anyone else for that matter, to tell you that you have or have not received the holy Spirit, which is what happens when one is baptized with it.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I can only encourage you to earnestly pursue the relief and confirmation you are wanting.\u00a0\u00a0Are there any meetings you can attend where the saints are full of the Spirit and not ashamed of it?\u00a0\u00a0Being where the Spirit is freely expressed is so important to our spiritual health.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I sincerely hope that God will answer your question for you.\u00a0\u00a0He is the only one who really can.\u00a0\u00a0Beware of men who claim to be able to.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
