Instead, there was a calm, loving authority in the man, and authority that makes the humble in heart WANT TO BOW. The simple truth of God carried the power that we felt.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>During a very loud and excited Pentecostal meeting in Louisville more than 40 years ago now, I heard a young man say, &#8220;The anointing is really here tonight!&#8221; Everyone there, it seemed, agreed and said &#8220;Amen!&#8221; Later than night, on the way home from the meeting, my father brought up that young man&#8217;s comment and said, &#8220;They just don&#8217;t know what the anointing is. You can&#8217;t shout under the real anointing of God. The real anointing makes you quiet. It calms you down.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>I was just a sinner at the time, but I have never forgotten what he said. What we felt today was the anointing that Preacher Clark was talking about. His confident, loving authority cannot be imitated. It was altogether in the Spirit. The world knows nothing about it, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>=============<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Pastor John<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I concur with you and Gary! Hearing the cd this morning did something wonderful. I feel my whole being has been drenched with pure truth and love of God. When the cd was over and the Spirit fell on us all, my body was weak from the feelings of authority and truth. I love those feelings. What else is there?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I really can&#8217;t say it the way I feel it, but it&#8217;s still there! No matter what he was discussing those opposing him or those for him he was the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">His tone and steadfastness is astounding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">EZEK 3:9<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Wendell<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:#000000;\"> =============<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><em>Yes, Wendell, Ezekiel 3:9 is an accurate description of his spirit. The amazing thing is that whenever God creates that degree of determination within a man, he then becomes gentle and kind.
