{"id":13877,"date":"2023-05-12T00:58:42","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T00:58:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=13877"},"modified":"2023-05-12T00:58:42","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T00:58:42","slug":"your-integrity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/13877\/your-integrity\/","title":{"rendered":"Your Integrity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I thoroughly enjoyed this morning&#8217;s Proverbs reading and our various conversations before and afterwards, even though I got stuck on that unusual word, &#8220;natron&#8221;.\u00a0 Ha.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I went home and reviewed\u00a0some of the Jerusalem Council YouTube\u00a0video, and then picked up the book* again, read the Forward on page xi, and was compelled to pray and praise God&#8230;for your integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I&#8217;ve always been a devoted\u00a0admirer<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of your writing, but when you write straight\u00a0from your heart-of-hearts as you do in your declaration\u00a0in the Forward of the book, it really touches me.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a staggeringly\u00a0<strong>honest<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>zealous<\/strong>\u00a0statement, yet with\u00a0<em>humility<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>simplicity<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">It certainly sets the stage for what the reader\u00a0is about\u00a0to encounter, although I would wager that many Christians\u00a0would be challenged in their\u00a0understanding\u00a0of it.\u00a0 I am giving a copy to a man whom I&#8217;ve met who claims to be a [part-time] preacher, hoping it might provoke him to seek a deeper understanding. His heart\u00a0<em>seems to be<\/em>\u00a0honest and teachable, but one never knows, until the truth exposes someone&#8217;s condition.\u00a0 \u00a0<em>I always hope<\/em>, even though I&#8217;ve been continually disappointed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">It saddens me so often when the valuable things you have taught us\u00a0don&#8217;t affect someone&#8217;s heart in a positive way.\u00a0 But, that is all up to Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I am grateful to have played the role of Hillel to discover\u00a0what it felt like to be so stubborn and sincerely locked into a belief that he couldn&#8217;t relinquish. Only God can open a chamber of the heart to let in the wisdom of the\u00a0Truth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">THANK YOU, again, for being such an obedient servant of God, and remaining faithful for our benefit. Your\u00a0<strong>integrity<\/strong>\u00a0brings tears\u00a0to my eyes, and\u00a0I\u00a0<strong>LOVE<\/strong>\u00a0you for it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Now, get back into the kitchen.\u00a0 It was a good breakfast, and we&#8217;re hungry\u00a0for lunch!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Brad<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">=========<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0013a3\">Hi Brad!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0013a3\"><em>I am so thankful for the blessings Jesus has given us, Brad.\u00a0 What a wonderful group of saints he has made us a part of!\u00a0 Often, I have heard him say in my heart, &#8220;Walk worthy&#8230;.&#8221;\u00a0 May God help us all to do that!\u00a0 We have a lot to walk worthy of.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0013a3\"><em>Jesus deserves all our devotion, and that devotion belongs not only to him and the Father, but\u00a0<u>to one another<\/u>\u00a0as well.\u00a0 Jesus said, &#8220;By this, all men will know that you are my disciples \u2013 if you have love for one another.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0We walk worthy of him when we love one another with the love of God, fervently and without dissimulation, as the apostles said.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0013a3\"><em>Thank you for doing the part of Hillel in the reading of The Jerusalem Council.\u00a0 Several people remarked how well you did it.\u00a0 I wish that all God&#8217;s children everywhere would read it, and that we were one with them all, in Christ.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0013a3\"><em>Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">* <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/goingtojesus.com\/gtj_books.html?tname=the-jerusalem-council\">Going to Jesus.com &#8211; The Jerusalem Council<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pastor John, I thoroughly enjoyed this morning&#8217;s Proverbs reading and our various conversations before and afterwards, even though I got stuck on that unusual word, &#8220;natron&#8221;.\u00a0 Ha.
