Hey Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

I was sick all this past weekend with coughing, body aches, and a slight fever. Lower back pain developed, but I figured it was just part of the body aches. For the most part, everything went away by Monday, but the lower back pain persisted. When I would cough heavily, my lower back would solely hurt, so much that I would have to brace myself anytime I had to cough.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I was driving home last night, I started to worry about it since everything else had gotten better. I was already dreading going to the doctor. As I was trying to figure out what I was going to do, I flipped on the CD that was in the player and just told God that I knew He could take care of it all. I wasn’t really hearing the words of the song (“Fill Us With Glory Now”), but immediately when the words “creator of the soul” were sung, which seemed to be amplified, this love and sweetness completely saturated me. My eyes were pouring with tears before I even had time to think. Every inch of my being knew it was Jesus coming to take over the situation, and it felt so peaceful and soothing.<\/span>
\n (I did a few test coughs to see if the pain was still there, but it was long gone.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether the pain in my back was kidney or bladder related, or simply a strained muscle, the pain and concern that I had about it completely left.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know I shouldn’t be surprised that when I pray, God hears it, but it was such a fast and thorough response; I am so thankful for the experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
