{"id":13925,"date":"2023-07-09T14:04:03","date_gmt":"2023-07-09T14:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=13925"},"modified":"2023-07-09T14:04:03","modified_gmt":"2023-07-09T14:04:03","slug":"tongues-will-cease","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/13925\/tongues-will-cease\/","title":{"rendered":"Tongues Will Cease"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Morning!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I have been proofing the Sound of the Spirit book to prepare it for the printer, when I was reading yesterday, I came across this paragraph and it really struck me. \u00a0Here is the paragraph:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">As long as there is hope for unbelievers, there will be a need for the Spirit\u2019s sound at Spirit baptism.\u00a0 It is only when \u201cthat which is perfect is come\u201d and the Final Judgment on mankind has been made that the Spirit\u2019s sound will cease (cf. 1Cor. 13:8\u201310).\u00a0 No one at that time will need a witness from God to let him know who is a believer, for believers will be the only ones left standing.\u00a0 But as yet, there remains a need for God to help the thirsty to find the waters of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">And here is 1Corinthians 13:8<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\" start=\"8\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Love never fails. But whether\u00a0<em>there be <\/em>prophecies, they will come to an end; or tongues, they will cease; or knowledge, it will pass away.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">but when that which is perfect comes, that which is in part shall be done away.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I love it when things like this happen. I have read this and known it but it just clicked with me yesterday that our tongues will cease and there will be no need for it because we all will speaking the same language, maybe a new language, or no language. \u00a0But at that point, there will be no need for that sound or tongue because we will all be believers. \u00a0What a neat thought. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Jesus really meant what he said when he said these things will come to an end, as we know it. \u00a0Love that!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Amy B.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Morning!
