{"id":14091,"date":"2023-08-24T20:19:27","date_gmt":"2023-08-24T20:19:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=14091"},"modified":"2023-08-24T20:19:27","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T20:19:27","slug":"job-study-michelle-amy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14091\/job-study-michelle-amy\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Study: Michelle; Amy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hey Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I know we&#8217;re just getting started on Job but it has already blessed me so much!\u00a0 Two things that I went to bed thinking on after last night:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Getting to know who Job really was, not only to go through all that he did, but also to have such confidence in God and who God made him to be.\u00a0 Makes me love him even more.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\" start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">I&#8217;ve\u00a0<em>always <\/em>thought Job&#8217;s friends were condemning him out of hatred or maybe jealousy.\u00a0 To learn, to take it in, that their heart truly was in the right place and what they were saying was right and out of love, but their timing was off, they didn&#8217;t wait for God.\u00a0 That is a wonderfully huge lesson.\u00a0 It puts each scene in a different perspective when reading this story.\u00a0 It makes these conversations hurt even more to realize these accusations came from people\u00a0who\u00a0<em>really<\/em>\u00a0loved Job and Job\u00a0<em>really<\/em> loved them.\u00a0 When someone you love hurts your heart, that wound goes much deeper and hurts much more.\u00a0 It takes God to get through it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I love what you teach us!\u00a0 These are not just stories, but these things really did happen, and we are getting to know our brothers and sisters.\u00a0 It makes each one of their testimonies mean so much more to me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Just\u00a0think, we have over 30 more chapters!\u00a0 Looking forward to our time together again!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Michelle<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Oh my! Thank you, Pastor John. I am really enjoying Job, and I am understanding more and more. I love how you put it that Job was waiting on God for an answer and how his comforters were not.\u00a0 They thought they knew what was going on with him. It goes back to what we have been learning: we don\u2019t know anything until Jesus shows up, then we know. That\u2019s what we wait for.\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-10946\" src=\"https:\/\/pjhmail.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/02\/clapping-hands.png\" alt=\"clapping hands\" width=\"17\" height=\"17\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I also marvel at Job. He knew himself, and he knew God.
