{"id":14098,"date":"2023-08-24T20:31:04","date_gmt":"2023-08-24T20:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=14098"},"modified":"2023-08-24T20:31:04","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T20:31:04","slug":"job-study-lee-ann","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14098\/job-study-lee-ann\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Study: Lee Ann"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Good morning, John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Last night was so good.\u00a0 Jesus has given you a real understanding of Job\u2019s heart, and his righteous friends\u2019 hearts, and you are passing that understanding on to us.\u00a0 But more importantly, I feel we are learning God\u2019s heart and the importance of waiting on Him before we pass judgment on anyone, including ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">One thing you emphasized last night was that we can not know anything about ourselves or others, and why we may be going through something, unless God lets us know.\u00a0 \u00a0That is a simple truth, but it\u2019s such an important lesson:\u00a0 Don\u2019t make any kind of judgment unless you hear from God.\u00a0 We don\u2019t know any situation unless the holy Ghost reveals it.\u00a0 You taught us that part of Job\u2019s patience was that he was determined not to make any judgment or assumption about why he had been so afflicted until he heard from God!\u00a0 \u00a0Job&#8217;s friends thought that they knew why God was afflicting Job, but without hearing from God, they were only adding to his affliction, and making him feel worse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Second important lesson from last night: \u201cKnowing God\u2019s voice is knowing God\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0We learned the reason Job knew the difference between what his friends were telling him and what God had revealed to him was because he knew his Shepherd\u2019s voice, and that was not the same voice he heard speaking through his friends.\u00a0 Even though the things his friends told him were said with the best intentions, and were mostly true, Job knew they were not from God.\u00a0 \u00a0He knew the difference between his friends&#8217;
