{"id":14147,"date":"2023-08-30T13:32:42","date_gmt":"2023-08-30T13:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=14147"},"modified":"2023-08-30T13:32:42","modified_gmt":"2023-08-30T13:32:42","slug":"iron-kingdom-chapter-3-part-2-billy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14147\/iron-kingdom-chapter-3-part-2-billy\/","title":{"rendered":"Iron Kingdom Chapter 3, Part 2: Billy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hi, Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Beautiful!\u00a0 I feel this is my favorite section, yet.\u00a0 The short paragraphs about Phileas touched me greatly.\u00a0 Here is a man that was killed for the true gospel!\u00a0 It&#8217;s amazing\u00a0that his story survived throughout\u00a0the centuries.\u00a0 This section left me with an overwhelming feeling of thankfulness and gratitude.\u00a0 I walked around my house this morning and felt a gratitude for turning on lights, seeing the cleanliness of a house from a loving wife that takes such good care of me, clothes, food, and even the pleasures and blessings that God has bestowed\u00a0upon all of us to enjoy with each other.\u00a0 And more than anything, feeling peace all around\u00a0us at this time in history is one the more treasured blessings that we can have, knowing that the gospel which we can serve in sincerity and truth is acceptable to God (if our hearts are clean).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">We can serve and praise God with our whole hearts, with gladness and joy knowing the truths that God has given you over the years (not only for us, but for all who will heed God&#8217;s call) will set us free so that we can do so without any hindrance.\u00a0 In fact, we are encouraged to do so and &#8220;behave ourselves&#8221; in the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I thank God that you have the time and heart to labor to do the research and archive this history.\u00a0 After reading these things, I feel my eyes are clearer to see the value in serving God with sincerity and truth in the truth of Paul&#8217;s gospel.
