{"id":14207,"date":"2023-09-15T18:43:34","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T18:43:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=14207"},"modified":"2023-09-15T18:43:34","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T18:43:34","slug":"jobs-confidence-amanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14207\/jobs-confidence-amanda\/","title":{"rendered":"Job&#8217;s Confidence: Amanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hey!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I just wanted to say how much I&#8217;ve been enjoying learning about Job.\u00a0 At the beginning of the Job study, I was so impressed with how confident Job was of his righteousness!\u00a0 I even prayed to have the confidence of Job in the things of the Spirit, but after Wednesday night, I prayed to not have Job&#8217;s confidence, but have whatever confidence the Lord wants me to have.\u00a0 I have always loved not being 100%, just in case I&#8217;m not seeing it the way God sees a situation, so I&#8217;ll plan to stick to that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I feel like the Job study is (hopefully) teaching me to keep it more in the middle \u2013 not a lack of confidence, but not too much confidence.\u00a0 What is very interesting is usually in my professional work, I have already learned the lesson, and Jesus is teaching me how to translate that into how he wants me to handle a situation spiritually.\u00a0 This is the first time I feel like I have learned (or am learning) how to handle confidence in the Spirit, and Jesus is using that to help me learn how to handle situations at work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Thank you for all your hard work.\u00a0 I loved how you said if our spirits are right, we can learn what God wants us to learn even if we cannot get it out.\u00a0 But you are getting it out!\u00a0 So, thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Amanda<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey!
