24:9,14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Good afternoon, Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I hope\u00a0all\u00a0are healthy and well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">With the recent escalations in Israel, I have been seeing an uptick of \u201ctalk\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0When things escalate, I sometimes like to read through and keep myself on track as to where we are timewise.\u00a0\u00a0I have some questions below.\u00a0\u00a0I pasted the scriptures from myPJV app, and I don&#8217;t know how to correct the font in my phone.\u00a0\u00a0Sorry about that if it looks messy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In Matthew 24:9,\u00a0Jesus says\u00a0&#8220;After that, they\u2019ll turn\u00a0you over to persecution, and they\u2019ll kill\u00a0you;\u00a0you\u2019ll be hated by all nations because of my name.&#8221;\u00a0I know eventually all of God\u2019s people will be persecuted.\u00a0\u00a0In this scripture,\u00a0is Jesus specifically talking about the Jews in Israel as a nation, since this was prior to the holy Ghost being poured out on Gentiles?\u00a0\u00a0Or was Jesus talking about Israel in a spiritual sense,\u00a0meaning us with the holy Ghost?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>This is prophecy, Margo, of the time at the end, and it has to do only with people who belong to Jesus.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">In Matthew 24:14, Jesus says &#8220;And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the earth for a witness to all nations, and then, the end will come.\u201d Over the years, I never really gave it much thought.\u00a0\u00a0We know that Christian doctrine has been spread throughout nations, and it is obviously not what Jesus was talking about when he says, &#8220;this gospel&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0When Jesus says, \u201cThis gospel of the kingdom shall be preached,\u201d would he be referencing that the holy Ghost baptism is the new birth?\u00a0\u00a0Or am I missing something Jesus is trying to say there?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">==========\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>Jesus means that, and whatever other truth is in his gospel, which Christians are not preaching anywhere that I can find.\u00a0 They have their religion, and Jesus has his.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">==========<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I have been going back and listening to the final weeks of\u00a0your teaching series on\u00a0Matthew this morning\u00a0(at\u00a0<em>TheSpiritIstheWitness<\/em>\u00a0YouTube channel), but still had these questions. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-10223\" src=\"https:\/\/pjhmail.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/05\/smiley-face2.png\" alt=\"smiley face2\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I appreciate any thoughts Jesus has given you on these
