Morning Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n I wanted to express something<\/em> that\u2019s been on my mind since your last meeting when you discussed the hatred towards Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n If we, having God\u2019s spirit, are the real Israel, and the ones that the world actually hates, but we are hidden with Christ in God and kept safe from that hatred, I\u2019m trying to reconcile in my brain\u2026how are we supposed to suffer persecution, then, If we are\u00a0hidden<\/strong>\u00a0in Christ?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Brad<\/span><\/p>\n ==========<\/span><\/p>\n Hi Brad.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n People can see that Spirit-filled people are different, and hate that without knowing who they really are.\u00a0 Peter mentioned this\u00a0(1Peter 4:3\u20134):\u00a0“The time that is past is sufficient for us to have done the will of the Gentiles, walking in licentiousness, lusts, drunkenness, banquetings, carousings, and lewd worship of idols,\u00a0concerning which they think it strange that\u00a0you do not run with them to the same excess of debauchery, speaking evil\u00a0of you.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The fleshly nature of man hates the nature of God that is in the Spirit, even if it does\u00a0not understand it.\u00a0 Your life being hidden in Christ\u00a0means only\u00a0that the world does not know who you really are.\u00a0 John said that (1Jn. 3:1): “Behold, what great love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God!\u00a0\u00a0The reason the world does not know\u00a0you is that it did not know Him.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Righteous people will suffer in this world, even though the world does not really know why it hates righteous people.<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for the question.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Pastor John<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Morning Pastor John, I wanted to express something that\u2019s been on my mind since your last meeting when you discussed the hatred towards Israel.
