{"id":14477,"date":"2023-12-28T16:34:17","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T16:34:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pjhmail.wordpress.com\/?p=14477"},"modified":"2023-12-28T16:34:17","modified_gmt":"2023-12-28T16:34:17","slug":"jeremiah-298","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14477\/jeremiah-298\/","title":{"rendered":"Jeremiah 29:8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Hi Pastor John.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">I have a question about Jeremiah 29:8.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">What does it mean when He says,\u00a0\u201cGive no heed to\u00a0<u>y<\/u><u>our<\/u>\u00a0dreams that\u00a0you are causing\u00a0<u>them<\/u>\u00a0to dream!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">How can someone cause someone else to dream a dream?\u00a0\u00a0Or is that not what is being said at all?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Thank you,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Anna<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">=======<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Hi Anna.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">It is easy for an evil man to cause others to dream his dream if those people are not filled with the Spirit and led by it.\u00a0 I will give you an example.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">A few years ago, a sister wrote me, saying that God had woken her up to pray for me and that she felt compelled to warn me because I was breaking up marriages.\u00a0 I could not have been more stunned if she had told me that God put it on her heart to tell me to stop committing fornication with little green Martian women.\u00a0 Her charge, that I was breaking up marriages, was that foreign to my life.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">A few years after that, in late 2007, I learned why she had called me.\u00a0 A backslidden brother was telling people, including that sister, that I was breaking up marriages.\u00a0 She took in that lie; it grew within her, and in her sincerity, she had prayed for me and then felt that God wanted her to warn me.\u00a0 That was not her dream; she would have never dreamed that up.\u00a0 It was the dream of a slanderer to whom she had listened, and he had made his lying dream hers.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">That is how it works, Anna, and it happens often.\u00a0 Pray never to fall into such a darkened spiritual condition that God uses you to try the hearts of others by making them dream your evil dreams.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Stay happy and free in Jesus, and you will be used of God for the blessing of His people.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Pastor John<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Pastor John.
