{"id":14668,"date":"2024-04-18T14:06:09","date_gmt":"2024-04-18T19:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=14668"},"modified":"2024-05-06T18:10:24","modified_gmt":"2024-05-06T23:10:24","slug":"last-nights-reading-of-section-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14668\/last-nights-reading-of-section-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Last Night&#8217;s Reading of Section 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Last night\u2019s reading was very good, as others have already said.\u00a0 I think this chapter is my favorite, although that could change as we continue.\u00a0 Almost every sentence is a Pearl.\u00a0\u00a0I particularly like the section on the saints\u2019 warfare with the flesh.\u00a0You have spoken on this matter many times over the years, but I think what you have written in Section 2 brings the point home more clearly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This paragraph stood out to me:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;God\u2019s life makes us foreigners to our old selves, our own human nature, and as new creatures in Christ, the warfare of God\u2019s children on earth is a warfare against who they used to be and who their fleshly nature tells them they still are.
