I am not sure what you mean by “Christianity is wrong”.\u00a0 That is not the way I talk.\u00a0 I do say that whatever Christianity may be right about, it is not the body of Christ.\u00a0 Christianity can save no one.\u00a0 And that is the whole point.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The video begins\u00a0by declaring\u00a0the myth that Christianity emerged in the first\u00a0century AD.\u00a0 It did not.\u00a0 The gospel of Christ is what emerged\u00a0in the first century, and its influence is what changed people’s perspective\u00a0on life,\u00a0or at least, many of them.\u00a0 Much of what men of God like Paul and the other apostles taught about morals was just an affirmation of the moral standard contained in Moses’ law.\u00a0 The positive influence of the gospel in moral\u00a0matters continued to spread even after believers turned away from Paul’s gospel, primarily because what those\u00a0backslidden saints turned to was Moses’ law, which condemned such immorality\u00a0as was common among the Greeks and the Romans.\u00a0 So, even the apostate believers\u00a0of the second and third centuries who called themselves Christians\u00a0held forth\u00a0that good standard.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It was an interesting point made in the video, that slaves and women were\u00a0attracted\u00a0to the gospel because of its moral standard, but the\u00a0truth is more likely that it was the power of God that attracted\u00a0them most.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
