Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you think people are always the third type of soil\u00a0in Jesus’ parable\u00a0or does it develop gradually, changing over time?\u00a0 I feel they don’t see it in themselves probably.\u00a0 If you are the third kind,\u00a0will the holy Ghost still talk to you or will He eventually stop?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Can the\u00a0third type grow into the\u00a0fourth if God lets them see it in themselves?\u00a0 I have these questions because it scares me that I could be deceived and not even know myself.\u00a0 But the times the holy Ghost has answered me or chastened\u00a0me gives me great hope.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks for the video\u00a0on evolution.*\u00a0 The holy Ghost in me loved it.\u00a0 It dispelled many myths about the earth.\u00a0 Amazing how many of these were the same questions I have always had, as\u00a0\u00a0in “How did ocean animal fossils end up on mountain tops?”\u00a0 And many more.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting last night was good food for my soul!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our choices determine which kind of soil we are.\u00a0 Based on that, I would say that a person can at least stop\u00a0acting\u00a0as if he is bad soil.\u00a0 But I don’t know that if a person who is the third kind of soil can actually change into the fourth kind of soil.\u00a0 God alone knows that.\u00a0\u00a0It is clear from the scriptures that\u00a0a person\u00a0who\u00a0is the third kind of soil\u00a0does\u00a0not realize\u00a0he is in the\u00a0spiritual condition he\u00a0is in.\u00a0 Sometimes, the Bible makes it plain that such people are so blind that some of them consider themselves spiritual guides to others in the body of Christ.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It is sobering just\u00a0to know that within the body of Christ are both wise and foolish believers.\u00a0 God speaks to all His children, by one means or another.\u00a0 He always has.\u00a0 But the unwise do not put into practice what they know is their heavenly Father’s will.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My father once warned me not to be hasty in judging anyone to be a wise virgin or a foolish one because, he said, there may be some foolish things about a wise saint and some wise things about a foolish one.\u00a0 We will do well to leave that judgment to God, and pay attention to our own lives, making sure that we are doing the will of God.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
