{"id":14796,"date":"2024-06-17T08:51:52","date_gmt":"2024-06-17T13:51:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/?p=14796"},"modified":"2024-06-18T09:03:42","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T14:03:42","slug":"our-god-of-relationships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/14796\/our-god-of-relationships\/","title":{"rendered":"Our God of Relationships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hi Pastor John,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I started reading the biography of your father today: (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pioneertract.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">https:\/\/www.pioneertract.com\/<\/span><\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The experiences those saints had were so real and even physically visible to everyone around.\u00a0 That story about Sister Murray seeing the light encapsulate her vehicle so she could get her family back home from the prayer meeting and how Brother Hunnings&#8217; leg was healed late in life was so powerful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The saints at that time were so free in Jesus! They expected things to happen in the NOW because of the Spirit; they weren&#8217;t waiting on things to &#8216;stabilize&#8217; due to a false sense of security from modern civilization\/technology. Sometimes, individuals are too &#8216;secure&#8217; in the current world or modern tech\/healthcare we live in to see their vital need for God.\u00a0 Those saints showed up to a prayer meeting and were available for JESUS to do something&#8230;anything&#8230;for them.\u00a0 I love to visualize those holy meetings where people could be healed from merely hearing the music.\u00a0 They expected for those miracles to happen when they got together!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I want that kind of faith that they had!\u00a0 I want the healings that those old saints experienced for us&#8230;now!\u00a0 We have the same holy ghost that can heal us as those saints were healed&#8230;and we need Jesus just as much as they did.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I got this book in a binder from Aunt Sandy&#8217;s, sweet little side note!
