John,\u00a0I just\u00a0completed reading your meeting notes\u00a01&2 from the old meetings.\u00a0 Wow.\u00a0 I\u2019m trying to describe how it made me feel.\u00a0 Even though it was written on paper\/email, there is a \u201csound\u201d with this kind of truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I hear a minister speak who has been influenced by the spirit of\u00a0Christianity, there is a sound\u00a0I\u00a0can hear right away.\u00a0 There\u2019s something that comes with it the repels my Holy Ghost, and I have to turn it off before long.<\/span><\/p>\n

When reading these notes and the pearls of wisdom in it, there\u2019s also a sound that comes to the Spirit.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s the comforting and even challenging voice of my shepherd.\u00a0 It cuts through.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been blessed many times to hear it from these old CDs, and over the years and even up until now, in the meetings and writings from you.\u00a0 It\u2019s such a blessing. I feel so touched when I hear this \u201csound\u201d, and it really perked me up to read this and hear that.\u00a0 Thanks for sending.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for sending these notes out.\u00a0 That must’ve been a wonderful time in that little room with the power of God falling and revealing truthful things about Himself.\u00a0 I feel it right now, all over me!\u00a0 So thankful that when Jesus came knocking at my door, I let him in!<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for all your hard work over the years to bring this truth into our hearts.\u00a0 It’s priceless!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

This had to be one of the best meetings ever.\u00a0 I wish I had been there and been in a condition to receive these things!\u00a0 I was just a 19-year-old fool.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

THIS was the most profound paragraph for me.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I just LOVE it! . . .<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s not a thing that you believe that you can prove. You can only prove what you know.\u00a0 There\u2019s not anything that you believe that you know to be the truth.\u00a0 You don\u2019t believe anything that you know.\u00a0 John said, \u2018I write unto you, little children who<\/span><\/p>\n

believe so that you may know.\u2019\u00a0 It\u2019s the happy privilege of every child of God to know the things of God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I seem\u00a0to\u00a0recall a story where a\u00a0man asked Uncle Joe if he believed\u00a0in God and he replied, “No.\u00a0 I used to believe, but\u00a0now I KNOW there’s a God.”<\/span><\/p>\n

It breaks my heart how many well-meaning\u00a0souls are stuck in\u00a0Xty …believing rather\u00a0than receiving\u00a0the blessing that would confirm their belief, therefore , never really\u00a0knowing<\/strong>\u00a0that God’s power is real.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ohhh how blessed we are to have had Preacher Clark’s anointed\u00a0teaching–and yours, John!<\/span><\/p>\n

I would like to make an additional comment about the meeting notes.\u00a0 One thing that struck me is the story of your father meeting an old man who said he belonged to the\u00a0Methodist Church.\u00a0 It was too far for him to attend so he went to the Pentecostal Holiness Church instead, “since they quit hollering and hooping and chattering….”<\/span><\/p>\n

God help us! That is a very sad story, but could become a reality\u00a0with us if we don’t follow the Spirit. I am grateful for your father and those old saints who held on to the truth and passed it on to us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What I came to appreciate by listening to the old meeting notes was just how much I heard old saints say, in some cases verbatim, what we say in our meetings to edify each\u00a0other. Or perhaps I should say, I was encouraged to hear that we still remind each other and encourage each other in the same truth. I\u2019m thankful that the truth is the same today as it was in Paul\u2019s day and while Preacher Clark was preaching. I\u2019m thankful that you and others like Brother Earl have held on to it and pass it on to us. I feel someone off the street could walk out of Preacher Clark\u2019s meeting and into ours and know that we are one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

John, I love this!!\u00a0 It is that simple.\u00a0 What I\u00a0love about it is that it is what God put in us, and to deny it, I would have to deny who I am.\u00a0 In turn, I would be denying who he is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
