(<a href=\"https:\/\/pastorjohnshouse.com\/mailbag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Father-and-Son-23-PDF.pdf\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Father and Son 23 PDF<\/span>)<\/a>\u00a0It is really good and clear:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The basic function and greatest benefit of government is to provide for the establishment and\u00a0maintenance of right relationships.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By nature, both men and animals are wild, and fleshly nature will oppose God\u2019s order as long\u00a0as the flesh is alive.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The best that human governments can do is to muzzle the dog so that it won\u2019t bite, but they\u00a0cannot change the nature of the beast.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is the nature of the flesh, whether human or animal, to resist being governed because it\u00a0thinks of being governed only as being controlled.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">God\u2019s form of government is to replace our nature with His so that we are freed from our\u00a0natural rebelliousness and have the strength both to want to do His will and to do it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I was reading these Remembers this morning and thinking about how we have to be recreated to understand and love God\u2019s government, and how God is a God of relationships, and how that God recreating us to love His government\u00a0enables us to obey His will and receive the greatest benefits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wow!
